Certified Brainspotting Therapy

  • A neuroexperiential, body-brain based relational therapy that uses where you look to access stored material in your subcortical brain. Through precision and focused-mindfulness, the stored material is metabolized as your own natural process unfolds, moving you towards a regulated, state of homeostasis.

    It resolves trauma responses and disturbances held in the body and lower parts of the brain.

  • Brainspotting results in rapid and effective change for most clients and symptoms (ie. sleep issues, low mood, anxiety, negative beliefs, interpersonal issues, stress, and chronic pain, etc.), returning them to a regulated, healthful state.

    Brainspotting can also be used to enhance performance, creativity, and positive states (ie. confidence, love, motivation, spirituality, etc.).

  • Brainspotting therapy transfers nicely into a virtual environment.

    1. Secure a quiet location and remove potential interruptions and distractions.

    2. Ideally, login from a computer that is resting on a firm surface.

    3. Have earbuds or headphones that are tested and connected to your computer.

    4. Have ready a beverage, tissues, garage bin, and a way to cover one of your eyes (bandana, eye patch, scarf, post it note on glasses, etc.).

    5. Have your biolateral or bilateral music queued up on a music platform you subscribe to or on YouTube. Learn more here about the music.

Brainspotting Fees: Same as Psychotherapy & Counseling = $150 Intake Assessment/Initial Session & $135/Clinical Hour for Ongoing Sessions
