9 Physical and Mental Health Benefits of Meditative, Free-Form Dance Movement

There are many different styles, philosophies, and names for dance movement practices around the globe (i.e. Ecstatic Dance, Authentic Movement, etc.). What I facilitate, I like to call meditative, free-form dance movement.” We all know exercise and meditation offer multiple health benefits. Essentially meditative, free-form dance movement practices are (cardio workouts + meditation + connecting to self/others/spirit = SO MANY WELLNESS BENEFITS) such as:
