Ecstatic Dance to Engage Your Rhythm of Regulation!

Our autonomic nervous system (ANS) is responsible for keeping us alive! Ideally, we are in a state of rest and safety where we can connect with others. And if there is real danger, our nervous system activates our fight, flight, freeze, or faint response in the service of our survival. Unfortunately, for many of us, for different reasons, we spend much of our time depressed, anxious, stressed, or disconnected either with too much activation energy in our ANS or too little.

There are many ways we can intervene and work to regulate our ANS. MOVEMENT, NATURE, MEDITATION, and MUSIC are all tools that can increase regulation and balance our ANS. ECSTATIC DANCE is a wonderful practice because it integrates all these + it is a practice done in community!

OUTSIDE ECSTATIC DANCE is happening, Saturday, 8/14/21 at Glen Park in River Falls, register through Inspiring Actions! Those who practice ecstatic dance share about the release of emotions and stress, the sense of feeling alive, of dropping into a meditative, expansive, free space in the here-and-now. Come join us!
